In July I went on vacation to Tenerife and it was absolutely amazing! I visited the most beautiful and fun destinations which I now gathered in a travel guide especially for you. Yay! And of course I also made a video of my week in Tenerife. Is it summer already?
#1. Siam Park – water park
Siam Park is the first thing on my list. Not because this is an amazing and very cool water park, but also because it’s the best water park in the world according to Trip Advisor What? I’m not joking! You can buy a ticket for €35, and for this price you can slide from every water slide as many times as you want. Woohoo! Tickets may not be very cheap, but it is definitely worth it. I promise!
#2. Teide National Park – the third largest volcano in the world
Teide National Park is the biggest park on the Canary Islands with the third largest volcano in the world: El Teide. The volcano stands at 3,718 meters above sea level and you can see the mountain from lots of different places in Tenerife. The view from the ground is amazing, but it is even better when you’re standing on top of the vulcano!
Once you watch the sun go down on top of El Teide – which is breathtaking – you can enjoy the stars! And the best thing: you can see almost every star constellation because the air is so clear!
#3. Whale and dolphin watching – boat trip in Los Gigantes
Whale and dolphin watching in Los Gigantes is also something you definitely have to do when you’re in Tenerife. And the best news: an one-hour speedboat tour is not expensive at all! During this tour, you will see dolphins for sure. Whales are a little harder to find, but the view is amazing anyway! Just keep in mind that the speedboat jumps over the waves, so don’t wear your sunglasses on top of your head! ?
#4. Loro Parque – zoo
Loro Parque is part of Siam Park, so when you’re planning to visit bots parks, you can save money by buying a twin ticket for €60. You can find this zoo, which is known for their massive ocean-going animals, in Puerto de la Cruz. It has become the best zoo in Europe according to Trip Advisor and it it definitely something you have to see for yourself!
#5. Watching the sunset – Playa de las Americas beach
It’s romantic, breathtaking and also completely free. Need I say more?
